The Centre for Human Resources Development and Regional Initiatives is an integral part of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy of the Republic of Bulgaria. It provides opportunities for training and development of Bulgarian and foreign officials of the central and local administration working in social policies area, representatives of the social partners, municipalities and NGOs. Another trend of operation is the implementation of an active policy for improving the qualification and promoting employment, especially among vulnerable people on the labour market. The Centre is prepared to allocate resources in support to international regional initiatives for cooperation, exchange of experience, information and good practices.
Our team consists of young and motivated experts, who work systematically and purposefully for offering contemporary and diverse training programmes, providing consultations, organizing discussions, surveys and applying new information technologies. Our work is fully directed towards satisfaction of the clients' needs.
The activities of the Centre are guided by a Coordination Board, which is attended by representatives of ministries and institutions directly involved in human resource development such as the Ministry of State Administration and Administrative Reform, the Ministry of Education and Science, the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training. Representatives of other countries, as well as international organizations could be invited to attend Board sessions.
An operational Regional Initiatives Council has been established alongside the Centre. It is a permanent body, comprised of representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the executive agencies to the Minister of Labour and Social Policy and other Ministries and entities. It aims at encouraging regional initiatives among countries with focus on education, training and further qualification of employees, international exchange of information, data, experience and good practices.
